The Shadow Falls

There were stars last night
Like i never looked at the skies
For a million glimpse in sight
For a hundred thousand folds
For i've been only seeing the heaven—
The only heaven i got to hold.

There were stars last night
Before i closed my eyes,
Fell asleep and lived in dreams
To be awaken by the light—
That light that is so bright
Taking me back to life.

There were stars last night
And there might still be tonight
In the clouds of darkness and heights
Of reds of blues of whites
Between hearts, whims and rhymes
Underneath as it seems.
